Welcome to The Main Line Center for the Family, PC, a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry practice located in Bryn Mawr, PA.

My name is John P. Williams MD. I attended Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, completing an adult psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I am one of two known child and adolescent psychiatrists in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certified to do Cognitive Therapy  by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.

I started this practice with three goals mind:

1) To practice in the most pharmacologically and diagnostically conservative way possible;
2) To bring the best in evidence-based psychiatry to my patients;
3) To provide the highest level of "customer service" that my patients and their families have ever experienced.
