The Main Line Center for the Family® PC is a full-service child, adolescent, and adult psychiatric practice, using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and testing to diagnose and treat emotional and behavioral conditions, including:

Anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, obsessive compulsive, and panic disorders;
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and disruptive behavior disorders;
Bipolar disorder;
Dementia, and other cognitive disorders;
Depression;
Eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia nervosa;
Learning disorders;
Intellectual developmental disorders;
Autism spectrum disorders;
Professional and career development issues;
Substance use disorders, including alcohol, amphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and opiate abuse/dependence;
Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders;
Sexual and gender identity disorders, including sexual dysfunctions;
Sleep disorders;
Somatoform disorders, including pain disorder;
Tic disorders, including Tourette’s disorder.

The Main Line Center for the Family® PC, in partnership with the team at Main Line Smart, LLC, offers comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations administered by certified school psychologists. Psychoeducational assessments identify an individual’s specific learning skills and challenges. They are necessary to attain numerous educational resources, including:

Extended time accommodations for in-school assessments and standardized tests, such as the SAT or ACT;
Qualifying for gifted curricula;
Developing an Individualized Education Program (IEP) with the school to meet your child’s learning needs;
Identifying strengths and weaknesses to tailor specific learning support strategies.
